Community Support
Based on individual needs, skills and goals, we help our participants engage productively with their communities, thereby promoting inclusion. We support our participants in building functional skills such as shopping, safe use of public transportation, volunteering services and contributing to community development while building valuable relationships with other community members with similar interests. ELC also provides supportive teaching to increase independence by enhancing participants’ skills. Our team of support workers leverage expertise and experience to help participants sustain relationships with community members through volunteer services, retirement activities and educational pursuits. Community Nursing
In performing our task of community nursing, we have a dedicated team of medical professionals who can engage in Medical Visits to our participants with conditions requiring special care. We understand that when people have these special requirements due to medical reasons or just the ageing process, they may need extra care and support. Our dedicated team can provide you with the assistance you need within the comfort of your own home.
Meals and Drinks preparation
We support our participants to prepare their own meals and drinks or have it prepared for them. We work to ensuring sufficient nutrition and hydration by planning balanced meals and promoting healthy eating and drinking. We approach the personal care and hygiene of our participants with utmost respect for their dignity, independence and personal pride. This is because we know how important it is to feel your best and we are always ready to support you in achieving this.`
ELC Quality Care in exceptional environment
In recognition of the benefits of change of scenery/environment, ELC homes offer an environment driven by comfort and safety. From design techniques such as carefully chosen colour schemes, fine murals, to tasteful furnishings and luxury facilities, our environments are proven to positively impact on participants’ physical and mental wellbeing, giving them a renewed sense of energy.
Community Learning Disabilities
Our team provide specialist assessments and interventions to help adults’ with learning disabilities. The team is multi-disciplinary and consists of Community Nurses, Dietitians, Occupational Therapists, Psychiatrists and Psychologists. The team also provides a range of health education workshops for people with learning disabilities.
