We are focused on assisting our participants in living their best lives by helping them access support services when and where required. At ELC, our Support Coordination team provides assistance to participants to feel empowered, have fun, do the things they love, achieve goals and live a fulfilled life. Our Objectives
To achieve our vision of independence and choice for people with disabilities we will
- Work with people with disabilities to identify and remove barriers they are experiencing in accessing services and support.
- Include people with disabilities in the planning of our services and promote wider opportunities for engagement and inclusion.
- Ensure people with disabilities have a strong voice locally.
- Raise awareness about people with disabilities’ needs and accessible service provision with service providers and employers.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a scheme of the Australian Government that funds costs associated with disability.
The NDIS is designed to provide all Australians under the age of 65, who have a permanent and significant disability, with the reasonable and necessary support they need to enjoy an ordinary life.
The NDIS works to help people with disabilities achieve their goals. This may include greater independence, community involvement, employment and improved wellbeing.
As an insurance scheme, the NDIS takes a lifetime approach, investing in people with disability early to improve their outcomes later in life.
The NDIS also provides people with disabilities, their families and careers with information and referrals to existing support services in the community.
